Animal-Free TSB-UF

Animal Free TSB, otherwise known as Trypto Soy Broth or Tryptic Soy Broth, is produced using non-animal origin peptones to eliminate the risk of BSE/TSE contamination. The material is ultra-filtered to ensure both filterability and low endotoxin levels. Nu-Tek Animal Free TSB-UF is suitable for media fill tests as recommended by the “FDA Aseptic Guide” and performs equivalently to standard TSB. View pdf here.

Yeast Peptone SY3

Peptone SY3 is a carefully balanced non-animal peptone developed for maximum microbial growth with short production cycles. Peptone SY3 was designed to be efficient for fermentation and diagnostic testing.  It is especially effective when used for growth of E. coli, Bifidobacterium sp. and Lactobacillus sp. When used at typical use levels of yeast extracts and peptones in microbial fermentations, SY3 will generally reach optimum cell growth yields in a shorter cycle time with comparable or greater yields.

Due to its cost effectiveness and excellent uniformity, Peptone SY3 can be used at all levels of product development including research, pilot plant, seed fermentation and commercial fermentation. In addition it is animal-free and kosher certified. View pdf here.
